I'm Robyn Maly, a Registered Nurse with over 20 years experience and a certified Blomdahl piercing nurse. I offer safe and sterile ear piercing in Lincoln and the surrounding communities. As a mother, I understand the desire for safe ear piercing options. Our story is unfortunately common: I had my ears pierced by a cosmetology student when I was seven, and the experience was traumatic! I developed a nickel allergy and was never able to wear earrings. I put earnings in for professional pictures on my wedding day and then had to immediately remove them as soon as the pics were done. I was so excited to have my first daughter’s ears pierced too - she’d look adorable! We went to one of those mall stores. Her ears were so red and swollen, and she cried and cried! I felt awful. She developed a terrible infection in the piercing, requiring antibiotics and then went on to develop a severe nickel allergy. She couldn’t wear earrings at all either! These awful experiences motivated me to find a better solution for the families of our community.

I provide families with safe ear and nose piercing using Blomdahl Medical Piercing System. What is a medical piercing? It’s a professionally done ear or nose piercing using equipment designed to address health risks like bloodborne viruses and nickel allergies. The piercing is performed by a trained medical professional (me!) in a private setting. I will come to you in-home. I also do piercing parties and offer occasional special piercing events.

• Aftercare Instructions and ongoing support for the initial 6 week healing period
• Numbing Cream, if requested

Additionally, I offer the highest quality titanium Blomdahl earrings for you to consider after the initial 6 week healing period. It takes up to one year for your ears to heal completely and your piercing studs are only temporary. To reduce the chance of developing nickel allergy, you need to wear high quality titanium or medical plastic earrings for the first year. You can purchase your second pair right from me, or use this link to purchase directly from Blomdahl.

Pricing:

• My fee is $100 for piercing both ears + $25 piercing studs. I have a variety of piercing studs available, and the price is the same for all.
• $50 for one ear + $25 piercing stud
• $75 for the nose + $25 nose stud

If you're piercing siblings at the same time, I only charge an additional $50 fee for the second child.

For parties of four or more, the host pays $75 and each guest only pays $100 for my fee. This includes your piercing studs!
