Blomdahl Medical Ear Piercing uses equipment designed from a medical perspective to address the risk of spreading infection and exposure to nickel allergy during the ear-piercing process. Blomdahl earrings are made of either medical grade titanium or medical plastic. Titanium is the safest of all metals, allowing little or no nickel to be released into the skin and underlying tissues. Medical plastic is entirely free of nickel. Both materials are the best choices for medical ear piercing and facilitate the healing process. Combined with my knowledge of proper infection prevention protocols and the sterility of Blomdahl’s medical equipment, I can ensure that you and your loved ones will receive safe, hygienic care.

I offer a variety of styles for babies, children, and adults. For children, I recommend piercing between three months to a year. After a year, it is best to wait until the child is five or when the child can sit still during the ear piercing.
